I see that there are more 'complete' zip quicklook plugins out there, that you were graceful enough to point out, but none of them seem to be very configurable or have their code available.

The issue that I am looking to solve is that my University (like many big email provider) renames incoming zip attachments to a new name (in my case *.zip-UWunsafe"). Other sites use their own naming convention. It would be really helpful if there was a quicklook plugin that would look into such files. They are really just zip files. All that would be needed would be the ability to easily add unique file extensions to the list supported by your app. Then the Mail.app should be able to do a quick look into such attachments.

If you shared out your code, it might be possible for people to just build site specific plugins if they needed to.
